About ME

To keep it brief, I am the Vice President of Geospatial Crime Solutions at CAP Index. Before joining CAP, I was a professor at the University of Arkansas in the Department of Sociology & Criminology. I also led the Crime & Security Data Analytics Lab (CADAL) within the Terrorism Research Center. My background is in Criminal Justice with an emphasis / curiosity in how 'Place Matters' in relation to public safety outcomes.
